Quarterly Dance

Join us for our Monthly Dance at The Ukrainian National Home at the bottom of Tipp Hill in Syracuse.  You can find us at 1317 W Fayette St, Syracuse, NY 13204.  We are dancing from 8pm to Midnight!  Lesson and Dance is $10.00 entry, Social Dance Only is $5.00 entry.  

Regular monthly dances will consist of a Beyond the Basics lesson in West Coast Swing.  Class begins at 8:00pm, you should know your basic footwork and patterns to be successful in this lesson.  

We are working on a collaboration with local instructors of other dance genres.  Our goal is to have a guest instructor quarterly, to offer a beginner class in their dance form, paired with a beginner WCS class.  The Social will then be a mix of WCS and the other dance form!  By collaborating with other instructors we hope to grow the Syracuse Dance Community as a whole, and create more opportunities for everyone to dance! 

After class, stay for our Social Dance.  The dance is from 9:00pm to midnight.  Social dancing allows us to emphasize connection, communication, and shared movement, fostering a sense of community and enjoyment among dancers.  Everyone dances with one another, so you do not need a regular partner to attend a social dance.  The venue offers great food and drink selections at reasonable prices.  Check out their menu HERE.
