Westie Wednesday

Come check out our newest venue for Westie Wednesday. 

For the month of October, we will be dancing at The Taphouse on Walton, 165 Walton St, Syracuse.

On Wednesdays, we offer a free crash course in West Coast Swing Dance - accessible to humans with any type of dance background, especially those with zero experience.  While this is a partner dance, you do not need to come to class with a partner.  We rotate partners frequently throughout the lesson, to ensure everyone dances and gets the maximum amount of knowledge/experience in every class.  The session starts at 7:15pm and lasts for 30-45 minutes.  We offer a similar lesson each week, so there is always an opportunity for a new person to learn and be on track with everyone in class.  

After class, stay for our Social Dance.  The dance is from 8:00pm to 10:00pm, also FREE for anyone who would like to attend.  Social dancing allows us to emphasize connection, communication, and shared movement, fostering a sense of community and enjoyment among dancers.  Everyone dances with one another, so you do not need a regular partner to attend a social dance.
